MOVIES THAT SCARE YOU ABOUT YOUR FOOD
Millions of people have been worried about what they're eating (among other things), and the revelations of how their food has been manipulated by large corporations. Some powerful movie documentaries, such as "FOOD, INC." and "SUPERSIZE ME" have opened the eyes of Americans and people worldwide on how our food has been "pushed" into a mindless processing nightmare that takes what should be natural and healthy for our bodies and recreates something easy to transport, easier to keep from spoiling, easier to handle pests, and cheaper to produce in mass quantities. What they don't seem to be working on is providing food that is healthier for us, and that means using natural organic seeds, unmodified by some chemical company (hello Monsanto), and the U.S. government allowing any patents on modified gene food products that "spread" through natural means to farms trying to stay organic. The seeds of chemically and genetically modified foods shouldn't be allowed to be "patented", because their spread and invasiveness is not containable by those who use them.
The movies FOOD, INC. and SUPERSIZE ME are two of many documentaries made regarding how our food is being hijacked by big money, stockholders, and the government.
